Sword & Sorcery

In addition to all the other stuff, I also occasionally write fantasy stories set in a world called Ilauris. So far, there are two novels and a growing collection of short stories.

Al-Kabar is a mash-up of Mulan and Arabian Knights, written for grownups but accessible for older teen readers. Fakhira lives in a world where men take what they want and few women have the power to resist. Those who do are easily tempted into complicity.

Only when a champion arises will the people see their fates change.

Available on Amazon, Kobo, and other fine ebook sites.

Damsel In Distress takes place in a different part of the same world. At least, the men who rule want you to think it’s different. Sabetia doesn’t feel more liberated than those so-called “savage” desert dwellers. Trapped in the life her parents decide for her, she longs for a knight on a white horse to free her.

No one comes to rescue her.

Not recommended for readers under the age of 16, this story delves into the dark hearts of dark men and the bright, shining core of strength possessed by one woman they think is weak.
